Secrid has created a collection of wallets inspired by Dutch masterpieces from the Mauritshuis in The Hague: a small world-class museum with an impressive collection of Dutch paintings from the time of Rembrandt and Vermeer. Fabritius’ painting features a life-sized goldfinch. Goldfinches were popular pets as they could learn tricks, such as drawing water from a bowl with a miniature bucket. The high-detail print ensures that individual brush strokes are visible on the leather wallet.

Soft Italian calf leather serves as the base for the Art Collection. The artworks have been printed onto the leather in exquisite detail, allowing even the smallest details, such as cracks in the paint, to be visible.
