To ensure visibility in dark environments, the watch's display is illuminated by a LED at the push of a button. Elapsed time, lap time, and end time are measured with an accuracy of hundredths of a second. The watch can measure time up to one hour. The daily alarm reminds you of recurring events with an acoustic signal at the set time. The time display can be set to either a 12-hour or 24-hour format. In 12-hour mode, a "p" in the display indicates the second half of the day, from 12 noon to 11:59 PM. Once set, the automatic calendar always shows the correct date.
