The specifications state: minimum age 4 years, maximum weight 40 kg. Our very tall almost 6-year-old has been riding this pony for 2 years now - she now weighs 21 kilos. I think she will enjoy it for a while yet. Unfortunately, I don't know of a designation in S M L.
