The advantages of this paint system: Revell Aqua Color paints come in innovative 18 ml containers that are easy to work with. The paints can be diluted with water, are low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed together. After 2 to 3 hours, the paint is fully dry, and repainting is possible after just one hour, which means it dries six times faster than enamel paints. The new colors can be easily painted over with the existing enamel colors (14 ml) after drying, but they should not be mixed together.
The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be diluted too much, with a maximum of 20 to 25% water. It is optimal to dilute the paint with Aqua Color Mix, as it acts as a drying retardant and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. The spray gun should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already started to dry, the spray gun can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean.
