3. Pegasus Kennerspiel The Cartographer: New Discoveries
New Discoveries - Mini Expansion for: The Cartographer (EN), ages 10 and up.
The New Discoveries expansion consists of three elements: a replacement pad for the base game, a new pad with two additional maps, and four ambush cards.
The new pad features the Tabula Rasa map on one side. The rules for the Tabula Rasa variant are included, of course. On the reverse side is the H+C game board, which Hunter and Cron played on during CONspiracy 3. This board provides a new starting setup for immediate play. The same game rules as the base game apply.
The four ambush cards are shuffled with the ambush cards from the base game during setup. Four random cards are then drawn from the eight cards to be used in the game.
With all these new elements, dedicated cartographers are sure to avoid boredom for a long time.

To have an unforgettable evening with your true love, you really have to put in some effort. To surprise your partner on Valentine's Day with the most beautiful, hand-picked bouquet of roses, you need to bluff skillfully and outsmart your rivals, as other romantics are also waiting to grab the best flowers. However, even the most beautiful bouquet can be ruined if the roses are full of thorns.
On their turn, the active player chooses a rose card from their hand and offers it face down to another player. The recipient can either accept the card and add it to their bouquet or decline it, in which case the active player must take the card themselves. Then, the enlarged bouquet is checked. If it contains five or more thorns, the bouquet is ruined and must be discarded. At the end of their turn, the active player may score their bouquet if they have four or more blooms to earn hearts. With five hearts, the game is won.

The game principle is easy to explain: The player whose turn it is can either draw a card from the draw pile or play a card from their hand and do what the card requires. The game is played clockwise, and to win, a player must be the first to lay down the three target cards "Ready," "I," and "Have." However, the game rules serve more as guidelines: What happens is determined by the chaotic cards. For example, the "Trash Wheel" mixes the discard pile back into the draw pile and allows two cards to be drawn. Or a "Surprise," a "Command from way, way above," or "Schrödinger's Nightmare" might follow, adding a lot of chaos to the game... 83 new game cards, illustrated by 35 artists, bring even more twists and even more nonsense.
