Flowers consists of a deck of 108 cards, featuring four different colors and values 1–4. Each player starts with a random card in their playing area, and the remaining cards are divided into piles: one pile is kept face down, and the top card of the others is turned face up.
On your turn, draw a card from the top of any pile and place it either next to an existing card in your field or on top of another card. If you take the face-up card, the next card in that pile is revealed. When a player takes the last card from a pile, they place it, and the game ends.
At the end of the game, each four must belong to exactly a group of four fours. The same rule applies to threes and twos. Each one must not be adjacent to another one. Cards that violate these rules (including those placed on top) are removed from the field, and the player loses one point for each removed card.
After this, you will score points:
For each group of at least five adjacent cards of the same color: 1 point per card.
For each butterfly card that is adjacent to a same-colored card as the butterfly: 1 point per card.
The player with the most points wins.
