The Earth is in a crisis; we need a new planet to which we can relocate part of the Earth's population. In Terraforming Mars, the government of Earth will commission you to travel to Mars to transform the red planet into a habitable place. This will take several generations and require an incredible consumption of resources, but there are no problems too great to save all of humanity. Once you arrive on the red planet, you will have access to a range of resources, both general ones related to the terraforming process and individual ones connected to your personal base. At the beginning of each round, you acquire project cards that will provide benefits once realized and help make Mars a more hospitable place. You can then use your resources to increase the oxygen level, green spaces, and temperature on the planet. Each of these aspects brings Mars closer to its terraforming, which, once achieved, signals the end of the game. Only the one who has contributed the most to this complex process can be declared the winner by the government of Earth.
