Each child receives a well-sized cardboard watering can, into which they fill blue marbles as water droplets. The three-dimensional vegetable bed consists of depressions covered by field tiles. When a player rolls a water droplet over the bed, it triggers a spectacular effect: the watered tile spins around its own axis, revealing a vegetable. Whoever skillfully and wisely waters to bring forth the third vegetable of the same type gets to harvest that plant. For added excitement, greedy snails hide in the bed, feasting on the fresh treats of the gardeners. The player who can harvest the most vegetables while avoiding the snails proves their green thumb in Beethupferl and wins.
