New details, new model – the Fendt 942 Vario is now available in its updated series version. The precision model makers at WIKING have worked on numerous tractor details that enhance the top model from Marktoberdorf. The Fendt 942 Vario is considered one of the top models in the 900 Vario series. The new series, featuring five models ranging from 296 to 415 horsepower, has been completely redesigned and resembles the innovative Fendt 1000 externally. The new 900 series is larger than its predecessor but more compact than its bigger brother. Weighing nearly 11,800 kilograms, it has gained around 900 kilograms, and the wheelbase has increased by 10 centimeters. This is also evident in the powerful 1:32 model, which showcases the proven detail quality of WIKING's agricultural models. This applies to both the defining main appearance and the interior of the high-tech cabin. A glance at the tractor hood reveals the high print quality of the newly designed Fendt logo with model designation. The driver's cabin boasts a delicacy that even allows for the discovery of front and rear windshield wipers and silvered headlights. Under the hood of the Fendt 942 Vario purrs a nine-liter engine from MAN, specially designed for Fendt. The "Machine of the Year 2020" award saw the Fendt 900 Vario triumph in two categories. Fendt won both the "Audience Choice Award" and the title of "Machine of the Year" in the large tractor category for the new Fendt 900 Vario. In the same year, the Fendt 942 Vario impressed the jury of the "Tractor of the Year Awards" with its digital connectivity, enabling fleet management and machine optimization. Additionally, the combination of the newly developed MAN engine and the low-speed concept Fendt iD has since provided "high performance at low RPM." The WIKING model features authentic tires with a pronounced agricultural tread.
