Product details
The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a single-engine biplane trainer aircraft that had its first flight in 1931. This aircraft was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland. The Tiger Moth was used as a training aircraft by the British Royal Air Force. Towards the end of its operational period around 1950, many DH.82s were used for civilian purposes. Many of these still fly today at veteran meetings. The model has been lovingly replicated from the original and features very gentle flying characteristics. Our Tiger Moth has been developed from the ground up for electric drives. The large, removable cockpit allows for easy battery changes and maintenance. Due to its compact size, the model can be transported assembled in most cars without the need to dismantle the wings.
