Particular attention was paid to detail fidelity in the development of this Piper PA 18. The result is a beautiful Piper that impresses especially with its excellent flight characteristics. The model is perfectly suited for electric propulsion, but it can also be equipped with a combustion engine with a displacement of approximately 7.5 - 11.0 cc. The Piper PA 18 features many innovative characteristics. On the fuselage side, there is a large, double-hinged (magnetic) door construction for easy access (e.g., battery changes). The standard landing gear is modeled after the original. If the model is to be flown on unpaved runways, larger wheels can be mounted at any time.
