Day after day, you have to organise food, get medicine and treat injuries. A small cold or a seemingly harmless wound can quickly become life-threatening without the right treatment. Your accommodation is sparse and every item you find is precious. With every item you find, you have to consider how it can best be used: Do you read the book you find to bring a small ray of hope to your bitter survival, or does it go into the furnace as fuel? While the war rages around you, you have only one goal: survival.

This War of Mine - The Board Game is a conversion of the award-winning anti-war computer game in which fans will definitely recognise "their game". Bruno, Pavel, Katia and co. hold out together until the war releases their city from its clutches. Your information is limited, but your decisions determine your survival! The game starts without much reading of the rules beforehand, allowing you to dive straight into the action. The atmosphere is provided by an extensive accompanying book, which offers different experiences depending on the decisions you make (just like a classic adventure game book).
