Tamiya presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) now featuring a Mercedes Benz G500 body. The CC-02 chassis is modeled after real off-road vehicles and features a ladder frame chassis, bevel differentials at the front and rear, as well as a 4-link suspension. The solid axles at the front and rear make the model particularly capable off-road, and the 4 CVA oil-filled shock absorbers perfectly cushion any unevenness.

Powering the vehicle is a robust 540 motor, which is mounted behind the front axle. This ensures good weight distribution when tackling rough terrain. Attached to the motor is the gearbox, which transmits power through movable drive shafts to the front and rear axles.

The body showcases the distinctive design of the Mercedes Benz G500 and is made from polycarbonate. Additionally, Tamiya has included a separate front grille, side mirrors, and wheel arches. A highlight is the included Tamiya TLU-01 light set for stylish LED lighting of the model.
