Product details
This gearbox uses an M3 threaded rod as the output shaft. Thanks to this mechanism, it is now possible to create slow and steady lifting and lowering movements. An M3 nut is screwed onto the threaded rod for this purpose. When the nut is fixed to an object, it moves slowly up or down depending on the polarity of the gearbox. The gearbox can be controlled, for example, by a speed controller.
Hydraulics, such as those used in excavators, can also be effectively represented with this gearbox. Depending on the voltage (2 – 18 V), speeds of 50 – 450 RPM can be achieved.
At 20 turns per cm, the following distances are covered:
- 2 volts: 2.5 cm/min
- 6 volts: 7.5 cm/min
- 12 volts: 15 cm/min
The metal gear motor operates at voltages between 2 V and 12 V, achieving speeds of 50 – 450 RPM (depending on the voltage). The metal gears used in the gearbox ensure a long lifespan and smooth operation. The threaded rod, which is 50 mm long, can be cut to any desired length.
