The Stegosaurus can be recognized from afar, and not just because it is so huge: its fiery red double row of curved bony plates on its back is unmistakable. It forms a beautiful contrast to the yellowish lizard skin. With its head lowered, it stomps across the meadows, keeping its long tail slightly raised. It is probably busy grazing again.
