In 1969, Jürgen Schipper discovered "Painting by Numbers" in the USA and brought this art form to Germany. Since 2008, the company "Schipper Arts & Crafts" has been part of Noris-Spiele, a company of the Simba-Dickie-Group, and produces its products exclusively in Fürth, Germany. The painting-by-numbers system is continuously refined and brought to the highest quality standards, allowing every hobby painter to create small works of art without prior knowledge.
The selection of motifs ranges from flowers and plants to landscapes and animals, as well as historical themes, famous painters, religious motifs, lifestyle, and Christmas. All materials used are safe, recyclable, and thoroughly tested. Special quality controls apply to the paints, including tests for opacity, as well as leak, heat, and cold tests for the paint mixtures in the pots. This ensures that hobby artists can enjoy their self-painted works for a long time.
