In collaboration with ROCO and Fahrtziel Natur, a very special locomotive of the Class 101 will be on the tracks of Germany and neighboring countries starting in spring 2023. In the Fahrtziel Natur initiative, major German environmental organizations such as BUND, NABU, VCD, and Deutsche Bahn, along with national parks, nature parks, and biosphere reserves in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, are committed to promoting climate-friendly, car-free tourism.
