Mills and Checkers are among the oldest games in the world. The Egyptians were already playing Mills 3000 years ago. Checkers exists in many countries, which is why there are different versions and rules. On one side of the game board, there is the Mills game board. Each player receives nine pieces of one color. These are initially placed alternately on the points and later moved. Whoever gets three pieces of their color in a row has formed a mill and may remove one of the opponent's pieces. The goal is to either capture all of the opponent's pieces first or block them so they can no longer move. On the Checkers board, the placed pieces are moved diagonally only forward on the dark squares. Opponent's pieces are captured by jumping over them. If you reach the opponent's back row, you place one of your pieces on top of it, thus becoming a King. This piece can move and capture both forward and backward. In Checkers, the winner is the one who can capture all of the opponent's pieces first or block them so they can no longer move.
