The Premium Maxi Servo Cable is the stronger version of the already well-known Premium Cable with a 0.35mm² cross-section. Stronger means that the current-carrying wires for positive and negative are 0.5mm² here, while the signal wire has a 0.3mm² cross-section for weight savings. This makes the Premium Maxi Cable ideal for longer runs in wings or fuselages for high-performance servos!
The cable is highly flexible and made from very thin individual strands to maximize current flow through the given cross-section. The insulation is extremely durable, providing excellent protection even with the material thickness of a thin film around the copper. This insulation achieves a weight reduction of about 30% compared to conventional PVC.
For comparison: The offered 0.5mm² Premium MAXI Cable is still lighter than a 0.25mm² standard PVC cable, despite the larger cross-section.
The insulation is flame retardant and much more heat-resistant than ordinary PVC.
The PowerBox Premium MAXI Cable is available loose in various lengths as bundles or rolls.
