After each battery change (batteries not included), a new pairing between the transmitter and receiver must be performed using the buttons on the bottom. When the receiver module is ready to receive, the red LED lights up continuously. This is for upgrading all RC-capable PLAYMOBIL vehicles. The transmitter requires 1x 9V block battery; the battery box requires 4x 1.5V AA batteries (no batteries included).
