As an Expert model, the molded novelty of the PIKO 102.1 received a motor with precisely balanced flywheel mass. The automatic white/red light change depending on the direction of travel is associated with the separate ability to switch off the red "tail light". The cab lighting allows prototypical night operation. The model is prepared with a PluX22 interface for digital operation including sound decoder. Free-standing grab irons and metal railings produced in a complex etching technique complete the sophisticated appearance of the PIKO model.
