The Bugatti Type 57 was developed by the son of the company's founder, Jean Bugatti, who contributed the essential elements for the vehicle. The Type 57 includes three different model series due to various improvements made to the vehicle. The Bugatti 57 SC was produced exclusively from 1936 to 1938. The SC version of the Bugatti was characterized by the Roots supercharger, which enabled the vehicle, with a displacement of 3357 cm³, to reach a top speed of approximately 225 km/h. The vehicle's power output is 147 kW at 5500 rpm, equivalent to 200 hp. Officially, only 41 units of the Type 57 SC left the production halls, as the S-type chassis was discontinued. However, there were some subsequent modifications of the Bugatti 57 S that were later equipped with a supercharger.
