The OMP Super Decathlon 55" V2 ARF is a highly developed RC airplane specifically designed for sport and aerobatic enthusiasts. With a wingspan of 1400 mm, this ARF semi-scale model offers an excellent combination of performance and maneuverability. The construction from lightweight plywood and balsa ensures optimal weight distribution and stability during flight. The model is designed for propulsion with a brushless electric motor in the power class of 500-600 W and can be operated with 3-4S LiPo batteries. This allows for both the training of basic aerobatics and the execution of demanding 3D maneuvers, depending on the battery configuration and control surface deflections. Control is achieved through precise ailerons, rudder, and elevator, which provide responsive flight behavior. Access to the electronics and battery compartments is facilitated by a removable cabin front and a cover on the cabin roof, simplifying the handling and maintenance of the model.
