Although Edward resembles a dragon, he is actually a Booble (or a Dodo), the largest animal after his brother. Edward the Clumsy lives in the sea but is equally nimble on land and in water. In Tove Jansson's books, Edward can be found bathing in "The Adventures of Moominpappa."

As a beanie plush, Edward the Booble isn't quite as huge (he is 20 cm tall) and doesn't enjoy bathing as much (although he can be cleaned by hand). The beanie plush is filled with fiber filling and bean-like plastic pellets, making it soft and flexible yet still movable: it can sit on the edge of a shelf, watch the room's inhabitants while they color, sleep, and play with other toys, always ready for fun. The toy is just the right size to take on trips but big enough to cuddle.
