For retrofitting Märklin/Trix H0 locomotives with built-in high-performance motors or other DC motors. The Märklin SoundDecoder3 features a soldered cable harness with an 8-pin NEM interface connector for upgrading many locomotives with a corresponding NEM interface and locomotives with limited space. The Märklin SoundDecoder3 supports digital formats mfx, MM1, MM2, and DCC. Pre-installed sound of a diesel locomotive.
