In the early 1990s, the first new MAN F90 and M90 models were delivered to waste disposal companies. The Vario-Press body was supplied by the company Faun. Most garbage trucks were delivered in the characteristic orange color. However, there are exceptions; for instance, the vehicles of the waste disposal company Alba can be found in dark blue in the greater Berlin area.
