Product details
The original Bonn station represents a typical city train station designed as a through station. When examining the kibri model, it quickly becomes clear why the novelty introduced at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1981 captivated all viewers without exception. In its overall appearance, the Bonn station in H0 scale, with a total length of nearly one meter and consisting of over 500 individual parts, is truly a superlative. Not only is it faithful to scale, but its exemplary design can be applied to the entire architecture. With its central and two corner buildings, as well as the platform and street side, the model building in H0 scale corresponds to the original in all essential details, including the skillfully applied color scheme. Due to its impressive size, this kit is a fantastic eye-catcher for any H0 layout. The model impresses with its overall proportions as well as its numerous details in the form of corners and angles. The kit is complemented by a whole range of accessories from the kibri assortment for the design of buildings and platforms, such as the Bonn platform hall. The halls and platforms are adapted to Märklin's C-track system, and an elevation of the platforms makes them capable of accommodating ICE trains, just like in reality.
