On a grand voyage, the centerpiece of the fully assembled sailboat Orion V2 RTR is the plastic hull with decorative graphics, which particularly thrives in freshwater. The boat navigates through small waves within a range of up to 200 meters, even at wind speeds of up to 25 km/h. The plastic keel and ballast, made from a zinc alloy, ensure good stability in the water. The mast and boom are constructed from durable materials, and to maintain control over the correct course, a powerful 6 kg sail servo and a 9 g rudder servo have been installed. The steering is managed by a proportional 2.4 GHz 2-channel digital remote control. For maintenance and care on land, a boat stand is included in the delivery package, which also contains everything aspiring captains need: various sails, masts and rudders, remote control and battery box for the receiver, a well-stocked tool bag, and much more.
