HPI WR8 Flux 2001 WRC Subaru
RTR Ready-to-RunProduct details
We are excited to announce the return of the popular WR8 family, featuring the classic 2001 Subaru Impreza that won the driver championship 20 years ago. Every rally fan will recognize the famous blue and yellow livery, one of the most iconic in the sport. What better way to celebrate the return of HPI's beloved rally platform than with a classic Subaru Impreza?
Built on the officially licensed and renowned Impreza body, the WR8 Flux chassis is based on the HPI Bullet RC monster truck, which means the WR8 Flux is very robust and can handle a lot both on and off-road. The WR8 Flux is powered by a massive 4000KV brushless motor and a waterproof 3S-capable ESC, delivering power through a sturdy metal differential and the fully ball-bearing 4WD drivetrain of the Bullet monster truck. Combined with the WR8 rally suspension geometry, specially designed shocks and bumpers, as well as extra-thick stabilizers for added control. Add to that high-spec soft tires and authentic rally wheels, and you have a true gem in your hands.
The HPI Racing WR8 is equipped with great features that enhance its durability, no matter where you take it, such as high ground clearance, skid plates, a foam bumper, optimized rally-style suspension geometry, shock protection, mud guards on the chassis, and much more. It is the ideal machine for racing against your friends on RC rally tracks and multi-surface courses or wherever you like. Like all HPI Racing RTR (Ready-To-Run) cars, the WR8 Flux comes fully assembled: you just need to open the box, insert the batteries, and you're ready for stunning stunt action. All you need is a 2S or 3S LiPo battery for the car, a LiPo charger, and some AA batteries for the transmitter.
