Hellas & Elysium is the first expansion for Terraforming Mars. This set contains a double-sided board that serves as an alternative to the base set, allowing players to attempt terraforming in different locations on the red planet. Elysium features a vast and flat northern region, while the south is arid and rich in minerals. Hellas, on the other hand, is the southern area of the planet, known for its seven giant craters that are evolving into a lake. Each board has its own goals to achieve, greatly increasing the variability of the game.
