Typhus, leader of Mortarion's first plague company and host of the Destroyer Hive, is the most feared among all commanders of the plague fleets. With his ancient ship, the Terminus Est, Typhus spreads plague and suffering throughout the galaxy. There is no doubt that Typhus is truly blessed by Nurgle. For ten thousand years, he has been the purest pestilence for the worlds of the Imperium; in the wake of his fleet, a contagious disease spreads, giving rise to plague zombies whose bites transmit the infection to new victims. Billions have died and returned as the undead, while the rampant energies of Chaos continue to mutate the plague, producing ever-new and more horrific strains.

This plastic kit contains all the components needed to build Typhus, the Herald of Nurgle and host of the Destroyer Hive. This appropriately large model is clad from head to toe in decay-covered and crater-pocked Cataphractii Terminator armor, adorned with symbols of Nurgle, skulls, and spikes – and yet there is still room for a Nurgling clinging to Typhus' hip, seeking a ride. High above his head, Typhus wields a masterful plague scythe that is even larger than he is, featuring a collection of repulsive traits of plague and wear – clearly a blade that sees frequent use. The vents on his back dramatically spew forth a malicious swarm of insects – some of the emerging flies are as large as a Nurgling. Additionally, a diorama piece for Typhus' base is included – a chunk of torn-down imperial architecture on which he arrogantly rests his foot.
