Product details

Easy to understand, the new "Starter Set for micro:bit" from fischertechnik teaches pupils from the third grade upwards the principles of programming with the micro:bit single-board computer. Included in this complete set is a fischertechnik parts set for building three stationary models, as well as the new fischertechnik "micro:bit IO F5 Adapter." This adapter board has 8 outputs and 6 inputs. With it, simple, understandable demonstration models (pedestrian traffic lights, hand dryer, barrier), equipped with actuators and sensors, can be controlled via the micro:bit board. The didactic accompanying booklet as teaching and instruction material offers help with the commissioning of the models, convinces with various tasks and is freely available as a free download in the eLearning portal.

Additional teaching material can be downloaded free of charge from the fischertechnik eLearning portal: didactic accompanying material, programming examples, information on the micro:bit board, information on the fischertechnik IO adapter and information on the Make Code software.

Product composition includes 90 individual parts in total, including 1 XS motor, 2 pushbuttons, 1 phototransistor, 2 LED lights, 1 fischertechnik IO adapter, as well as 1 construction manual as a printed supplement, 1 didactic accompanying material available online and 1 sturdy storage box with cover sheet and individual parts listing.
