Yoka no Mori, board game, for 2 players, ages 7 and up

In the land of the rising sun, deep in a forest, the spirits - the Yka - challenge each other to a joyful competition in their favorite game. Their goal is to capture the Koropokkuru, an old man with great knowledge and immense wisdom.

Inspired by Shogi, a traditional Japanese game, Yoka no Mori is very accessible while also captivating players with its depth. A unique feature of the game is that pieces do not leave the game when they are captured; instead, they are taken over by the opposing player.

In Yoka no Mori, you receive active support from the fabulous Kodama, Kitsune, Tanuki, Oni, and Kirin. The two different game boards also offer a variety of gaming experiences: an engaging short version with 8 wooden pieces and an extended version with 16 wooden pieces for the highest strategic challenges.
