The CARSON drive concept for TAMIYA trucks in 1:14 scale converts your TAMIYA 2- or 3-axle tractor into an all-wheel-drive powerhouse with self-locking axles. The components can be easily swapped out as they are mounted on the existing mounting points. A significant advantage of these axles is that no additional space is required for a shift servo, as they automatically lock in the event of traction loss. The 2-speed transfer case is designed for use in TAMIYA 2- and 3-axle chassis in conjunction with the Compact 2-speed transmission. It gives you the option to upgrade your model to all-wheel drive. Installation is straightforward, as existing holes and threads are utilized. The transfer case offers two additional selectable gears and a self-locking longitudinal differential that compensates for the speed difference between the front and rear axles, automatically activating the differential lock in case of traction loss and ensuring 100% traction.
