Wireless 2.0 hand controllers can only be operated with the Wireless 2.0 receiver, correspondingly the previous Wireless+ hand controllers only work with Wireless+ receivers. However, parallel operation is possible if both a Wireless 2.0 receiver 20010122 and a Wireless+ receiver are connected to the Carrera Digital Control Unit, but the addresses of the vehicles must not be assigned twice.
