Brass: Lancashire, originally published as Brass, is an economic strategy game that tells the story of competing cotton entrepreneurs in Lancashire during the Industrial Revolution. Your task is to develop, build, and establish industries and networks to profit from the demand for iron, coal, and cotton.

The game is played in two phases: the Canal Phase and the Railroad Phase. To win, you must earn the most victory points (VPs), which are counted at the end of each phase. You earn VPs through your canals, railway lines, and activated (flipped) industry cards.
