Welcome to the world of Boogeyman! In Boogeyman, you will play as intrepid children grappling with the nightmare of all time: the Boogeyman. No one knows who he is or what he wants, but he certainly has a fondness for children who do not intend to become part of his dinner. No one knows his true face, but he is said to be scary beyond your wildest imagination. To make matters worse, children will have to try to escape from the clutches of Jennifer, a psychopathic babysitter. What will happen? Will they be able to survive the long night? Will they manage not to get caught by the babysitter and defeat their fears? Or will the Boogeyman be able to get the better of them all?
Four modes are included:
In the competitive mode, which is the most complete, one player will take on the role of the Boogeyman and play against all the others, hiding in various rooms without revealing his location. Children will explore the rooms looking for objects and try to get inside the Boogeyman's head to avoid entering where he is hiding and thus falling into his trap. Other cards will fuel the adventure by providing children with new goals or penalties due to the nightmare cards. The ending is then enriched by a splendid comic where we will read the outcome of the room we are in.
Fusion System: the reality of the game will literally merge with the reality of the players, in an alienating but at the same time fascinating union. Also included is a new adventure exclusive to the Tales of Evil board game, a new playable character, and additional cards.
