A sheriff, outlaws, and a renegade battle it out in the unforgiving Wild West. While the outlaws aim to eliminate the sheriff, the renegade seeks to kill the outlaws and take the sheriff's place. The players' roles are secret, except for the sheriff's role, which is revealed at the beginning of the game after the random distribution of role cards. Before the players face each other in relentless duels, they receive a character card detailing their character's traits and hit points. In each round, players draw two cards and then play as many cards as they wish. However, only one Bang card can be played per turn, and only one weapon can be activated at a time. The number of cards a player can hold at the end of their turn also depends on their health points (a player with 2 health points can only keep 2 cards). The action cards on the brown board can be used to draw additional cards (convoys, diligences), to draw opponents (bang, duel), etc. These cards are discarded after use. Blue-bordered cards are offensive or defensive accessories (Remington, Hideout) that can be activated by placing them in front of the player. At the start of the game, players may only attack their immediate neighbors. Acquiring a weapon allows them to shoot at more players by increasing the range of their shots. The game ends with the sheriff's death. If the renegade is the last one remaining in the game, he wins. If not, the outlaws win. Conversely, the sheriff wins if he is the last survivor in the game.
