As the Commodore of a space station, it is your task to add new ships to your fleet in order to monitor sectors under your supervision and gather resources there. Use your cargo ships to trade, mining ships to secure a steady income, and carriers to expand your reach. If you gain enough influence, you may even be appointed Admiral. Space Base is a dice game where players try to gain the most influence as quickly as possible. In each player's turn, all players receive returns from their cards, whether resources or influence. In Space Base, every player is involved from the very first turn, participating in every turn and from the first to the last dice roll.
