The more "ah" the battery has, the longer the operating time.
We have two 5ah batteries to power a 170m2 house.

I bought the Kärcher Professional rechargeable battery 36 V / 7.5 Ah Li-Ion. It's really good but also quite expensive. My wife says it lasts for as long as you like to carry it (about 1 hour) but it also recharges quickly.
