Unpacked, batteries inserted, assembled and charged according to instructions. Lit and grilled two steaks. Suddenly the fan stops, the violet indicator light lights up. New batteries inserted, fan runs briefly, stops again. No longer runs at any controller position. Control light is on. Grill cools down, there is no more joy.

Helpful answer
Had exactly the same problem, after contacting support the grill was replaced. It seems that the fan is a weak point. The new grill now works :-)
