Is there really only a difference in the plug between the EU and CH versions? Sometimes cheaper components are built into the EU versions.

Only the manufacturer can answer that. In my opinion, it would not make sense to equip the CH version (with the exception of the plug) with different components than the EU version. After all, all the devices probably come from the same production facility and the supply process is identical. Of course, components from different manufacturers may be used in the products, but ultimately they all have to meet Kärcher's Q requirements. So, in conclusion, your question cannot be answered with 100% certainty. However, it would be very surprising if there were any relevant differences between the CH and EU versions from a component point of view. The fact is that the EU unit (which I use) fulfils its tasks perfectly.
