I have a grill made of chrome steel, which I think should act like a Faraday cage. Has anyone tested whether Bluetooth still works there? Second question: How long do the batteries in the samples last without recharging? Can a brisket or pulled pork be grilled at low temperatures for 10-14 hours on a single charge?

Helpful answer

1. The Sync probe Bluetooth signal output power is 8dbm which is stronger than others. Just buy one and return it if it doesn't work.
2. The probe works 48 hours after a single full charge.
