I agree: there is a clear "Do not put a gas bottle here" sign on the area between the wheels.

The gas bottle shouldn't be under the barbecue anyway and it must only be 35 cm high for storage because the collecting vessel hangs at the bottom of the barbecue tray. My gas bottle just stands next to it and also has room under the cover :-)
