Hello Does this pool not need chemicals? According to the description, the larger one (diameter 427cm) has a ChemConnect chemical dosing unit. Does this depend on the size?

Yes, for the 366 cm pool you need approx. 4 - 5 small chlorine tablets every 7 days (just put them in the float). Then the water should stay clear.
