Hello everyone, I bought this submersible pump because the cellar corridor in our apartment complex "floods" about once a year when it rains heavily. Several flatmates then help to push the water away, collect it in buckets, etc. Some wear wellies, some slippers, some are barefoot. Now I need clarification on the following warning from the operating instructions: "Danger to life due to electric shock! When touching live parts, there is a risk of fatal electric shock. due to electric shock. During operation, do not touch the rope attached to the carrying handle handle and do not touch any objects that are in contact with the contact with the pumped liquid (e.g. pipes protruding into the pumped liquid, railings pipelines, railings) and do not reach into the do not reach into the pumped liquid." Perhaps someone can give me more detailed information ... thank you for your help Duwe

An RCD, also known as a residual current circuit breaker
is a safety device that protects electrical systems from dangerous residual currents. It recognises deviations in the circuit and interrupts the flow of current in the event of a fault to protect people from electric shocks. This is located next to the circuit breaker on the fuse panel.
or the house or flat is not yet equipped with the protective device due to its age.
