The manufacturer calls the whole thing "silky gloss". It is indeed something in between. It's not mirror-smooth polished, but it's not matt either. If you want it to come in the "usual" brushed stainless steel look, you'd better buy this item: Blanco Claron 500-IF/A Durinox (56 cm, 51 cm)
