Operating Instructions for Jet Lighters:

1. Always empty your lighter before refilling it (even for the first fill). To release the complete pressure in the tank, press down on the inlet valve with a suitable tool. Hold the lighter upside down while the remaining gas escapes. Repeat this process until the tank is completely empty.

2. While still holding the lighter upside down, you can continue filling it with fresh gas. Press the gas canister onto the inlet valve for 2-3 seconds (until the tank is full). Before using the lighter, let it sit for 3-4 minutes to allow the butane to reach room temperature.
