Cherry wood shavings

The chips are intended for hot smoking in a smokehouse. Cherry wood smoke has a fruity and sweet flavour and gives the smoked food a darker colour. It is ideal for all types of meat. To use these shavings, soak them in water for approx. 30 minutes before use. To smoke, place the shavings in a smoking bowl or wrap them in crumpled foil and place them on the embers or charcoal. When the chips start to smoke, place the food on the barbecue and close the lid. The lid of the barbecue must be closed so that the smoked food can develop its full flavour. Quantity: 1 litre.
