The STIHL chain oil STIHL BioPlus is an oil awarded the EU Ecolabel, classified as "environmentally friendly oil." STIHL BioPlus is plant-based with excellent lubrication and adhesion properties. It is "readily biodegradable" according to OECD 301 B. The canister of the BioPlus chain oil is made from 25% recycled material. Since it remains liquid even at temperatures as low as -20 °C, you can use STIHL BioPlus chain oil in low temperatures. Additionally, it has a shelf life of up to 4 years. The chain oil has received both the KWF test mark from the Kuratorium für Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik e.V. and the European Eco-label, and it is tested according to OECD 301 B. STIHL BioPlus chain oil is available in the following sizes: 1 l, 3 l, 5 l, and 20 l. For additional packaging options, please contact your local STIHL dealer.
